About Dillard Enterprises
Erin Dillard was a pioneer in the real estate industry of Tupelo, Mississippi. Since the 1930s, he constructed all types of residential and commercial real estate. He was a no-nonsense businessman in a difficult economic time. He was also well-known for his compassion, building and financing for homeowner's when other financing wasn't available.
Although some of Mr. Dillard's properties have been sold and some have been leveled in favor of new growth, the many residential and commercial properties he built over the years have shaped the landscape of Tupelo.
A true working man until the end, Erin Dillard died at the age of 79 while digging the foundation for a new commercial building. Dillard Enterprises Inc. was established in 1976 and is now owned by his daughter, Dott Dillard Cannon. Dott's son, Fred Cannon, now handles the day-to-day operations of the company.
Along with Tupelo, Dillard Enterprises has changed over the years. But we are still family owned and operated and we are still committed to the people of our community.
